"I work best with altruistic, optimistic risk takers wanting to partner with a coach to overcome obstacles, brainstorm together, share ideas, grow from constructive criticism and feel supported. My coaching style has best been described as casual, extremely customized, organic, gently confrontational and highly effective.
I work with people who are going through career changes whether that’s transitioning into work after being a stay at home mom, moving into an entirely new career, starting your own business or deciding on what sort of retirement you’d like. I also work with new coaches who are just getting started."
So, how does Coaching work? What options do I have?
"Coaching happens by phone, so it’s very convenient. My monthly clients typically work with me once a week for 30 – 50 minutes depending on what they need. Together, we design an action plan. Weekly appointments are great for people who have trouble with procrastinating and want to be held accountable. It’s also great for people who are going through a major transition like a lay-off or re-careering.
I also work with a lot of people who are starting their own business or planning for retirement. Most of these people work with me on an hourly basis. They call as needed to explore resources and brainstorm.
I do not require that you sign up to work with me for a certain amount of time. You know what you need and when.
I will work with a maximum of twelve full time clients. This allows me to fully focus on each client and to be available to them for spot and e-mail coaching between sessions, help with research and connect with resources that will be helpful to my clients. It also allows me to continue learning and to stay up to date on issues affecting the job market."
